Bihar

The Bihar government has started land survey in more than 45,000 villages of the state. According to Bihar government officials, this survey will be completed by next year 2025, this will register the names of all the living owners of the land of the people of Bihar.

Jharkhand

Let us tell you that the land survey work is going on in Jharkhand state since 1980, but more than 44 years have passed, but the state government has not been able to complete it. The High Court has also recently given an order regarding this. The division bench of Jharkhand High Court’s Acting Chief Justice SN Prasad and Justice AK Rai has heard the petition filed demanding a land survey in the state. During the hearing, the court has directed the government to complete the land survey in all the districts of the state within eight months.

Andhra Pradesh

Land survey work is also going on in Andhra Pradesh. According to the information, the work of land survey has been completed in most of the villages, but it is still pending in some villages. A minister of Andhra Pradesh had said in September 2023 last year that the work of land survey would be completed in a year. However, by September 2023, Andhra Pradesh became the first state to conduct land survey in 4000 villages.

Telangana

The state has also conducted a land survey in Telangana. Let us tell you that in 2021, when the government conducted a land survey after 90 years, at that time the government had kept a budget of Rs 600 crore.

Karnataka

Land survey is still pending in Karnataka. According to a 2022 report, about 2 lakh land survey applications were pending at that time.
